Alex’s background is in information and research roles for the public and third sector, most recently working for Mind, providing information on people’s rights, benefits and providing support in court.

Alex has also volunteered in the charity sector for over 12 years, including taking her therapy dog, Dora, into hospitals and schools to provide wellbeing support. She has volunteered with Time to Change Wales for 9 years, providing presentations to organisations and the Senedd, on mental health and reducing the stigma that surrounds it.
