Anne Champ

Anne is the named representative of Dewis Centre of Independent Living. She started her role as board member in October 2020 after being nominated by her employer, a Disability Wales DPO, and was elected as Vice Chair of the Board in May 2022.

Anne is interested in how having an impairment in Wales can be shaped by policy and how that filters down to the individual. A Mum of two boys, Anne would like to see the Social Model of Disability taught in schools. She is also interested in the fields of mental health and peer support. In her spare time, Anne likes reading, learning Spanish and watching TV, especially cookery, documentaries, comedy and good Dramas.
