Mary E Powell
Board Member

An appointed Director, Mary is a qualified teacher with a diverse career background. She has worked across the public, private and voluntary sectors and is self-employed as a diversity management consultant and trainer. Recognising the demand for diversity management and human rights / equality advice and training in the workplace, Mary found her niche in working in a field to which she is totally committed, and in a way that enables her to manage her own impairment.
Relating to her personal experience is a passion to highlight ‘invisible disability’, which Mary describes as “the dysfunctional bits in us that no one can see, yet continually and constantly affect our day to day living”.
