John is based in Gwynedd, he is passionate about promoting disabled access especially for health and wellbeing. As a member of the Snowdonia National Park Authority and Arfon Dwyfor Land Access Forums, he works with Local Authorities and other public sector bodies on the development of new disabled access standards in addition to giving feedback to Welsh Government via their Access Reform Advisory Group on their current Access Reform Program.
John’s background lies in providing training and development courses to organisations and he has experience as a trustee and director of not for-profit companies. He has Public Sector board experience with the Snowdonia National Park Authority through their board member mentoring program and recently as the Individual Representative on the North Wales Regional Partnership Board during the pandemic.
In his spare time, John enjoys art, learning Welsh and, when possible, getting out and about to enjoy routes such as the coastal path and Snowdon circular with his hand bike.
