Ofcom consultation on EPG accessibility for vi television viewers

Ofcom has produced a set of proposals to improve the accessibility of on-screen TV programme guides (otherwise known as Electronic Programme Guides or EPGs) to make them more accessible for people with a vision impairment.

Ofcom is proposing that EPG providers should make a wider range of accessibility features available in future, so that vi people can enjoy a broader range of viewing. The consultation document is available of Ofcom’s website in PDF and audio formats. Responses must be received by 30th September 2015.
