Lifestyle
Life style is how you choose to live your life. It is about choosing where to live, with whom you live. It is about whether you have children.
Sometimes it still difficult for disabled people to make life style choices. Some choices for non-disabled people are quite simple. If they want to go to the pub or out clubbing, the biggest choice is what to wear.
However, for many disabled people that decision is the least of their worries. First you’ve got to get to the pub – taxi could be an option but that’s expensive – public transport is often out of the question if your looking for accessibility.
Finally, you have to get into the club or pub… Some clubs even try to turn you away because you could be a fire hazard.
The big choices are even more difficult especially, for example, disabled people choosing to have children.
