One of Disability Wales main objectives is to remove all disabling barriers in society.

The Social Model of Disability tells us that it is the physical, organisational and attitudinal barriers in society that create the problems for disabled people, rather than our particular impairments.

Physical access to all kinds of services is a vital piece of the jigsaw that allows disabled people to take a full part in society. One of our key aims is to make everyone aware of the discriminatory barriers that exist and to campaign and advise on their removal and to promote inclusive environments and services.
