The Access Panel

Disability Wales has a full time Principal Access Officer, Graham Findlay and the Access Panel, which is a sub-committee of the Executive Committee. The Access Panel advises the Executive Committee on policy, good practice, consultations and campaigning issues around accessibility. The Panel is made up of Board members and local access group representatives from the two access group networks and Mid Wales area. The current (2007/8)  members of the Access Panel are:

The Access Panel's work programme for 2008 will be about developing a range of comprehensive transport policies for Disability Wales. The intention is for the policies to be readily adaptable so that our local member groups can use them to help shape initiatives and inform consultation work in their area.

Other work will include responding to key consultations, for example the WAG consultation on a Public Transport Users Committee for Wales.
