Inquiry into the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak, and its management, on health and social care in Wales

how has the coronavirus pandemic impacted on you?

The Senedd is looking for your views on the impact of coronavirus.

The Health, Social Care & Sport Committee is running an inquiry into the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak and its management, on health and social care in Wales.

The committee is looking to “examine the response by the Welsh Government and relevant public bodies, as well as considering the impact on staff, patients and others receiving care or treatment in both clinical settings and the community. It will also consider the Wales response in the wider, UK context.”

Further information on the inquiry can be found here.

Disability Wales is going to be responding to this inquiry and we want to ensure that our response reflects the experiences of our members and to ensure that the opinions of disabled people are listened to. Particularly in the field of health and social care, where we are often disproportionately affected.

If you want to contribute to the response from Disability Wales, please send your queries to megan.thomas@disabilitywales.org. If you’d prefer to phone us, you can do so at 029 20887325 or we can arrange to call you.
