High Street Accessibility Survey – the results

The Disability Rights Commission asked over 350 disabled people to tell them, in their own words, if they believed Britain’s retailers had improved in accessibility and reasonable adjustment provision. And of course the nature of shopping and our High Streets is changing rapidly. They wanted to explore how disabled people feel about multi-channel shopping experience, and if the internet had opened up opportunities, or created new barriers. They wanted to see if any one particular sector or retailer stood out as an exemplar of best practice.
