The Welsh Government have recently launched a consultation on a new action policy to improve access to help, advice and services for disabled people in Wales.
Action on Disability: Right to Independent Living will replace the current Framework for Action on Independent Living which was launched by the Welsh Government in 2013 to tackle barriers to independent living faced by disabled people. The Welsh Government are currently inviting the public to respond to their draft action plan.
Disability Wales will be submitting a response to Action on Disability: Right to Independent Living and we would like to hear your views on the proposed plan.
The event will run from 10:45 – 15:30. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Spaces are limited.
*Reasonable transport costs will be met for disabled people to attend.
We have put together a short online survey to hear your views on the Welsh Government Action Plan. We would be grateful if you could spare the time to complete this survey and let us know what you think about the plan and what Welsh Government should do to improve access and opportunities for disabled people in Wales.
