Celebrate 10 Years of UNCRPD Activism!

The UN Convention on the Rights of Disabled People was launched 10 years ago today. It has been a great framework for holding governments accountable for the treatment of disabled people, which we at Disability Wales are doing right now in the UK.
Here’s a voxpop from one of our recent UN rights forums. In it, Piers Wilkinson, Students with Disabilities Officer at NUS Wales, shares his concerns about disabled people’s rights in the UK, and makes a great recommendation for benefits policy.
