Board Nominations 2012/13: Second Round

DW is holding a second round of nominations to fill several vacancies that have arisen on the Board for elected Directors.

DW is committed to achieving the widest representation of Board membership to ensure its work reflects the priorities and interests of full members from across Wales. We do hope that you will give serious consideration to making a nomination from your group and ensuring that in these challenging times DW’s voice as the national body of disabled people’s organisations remains strong and powerful.

If your organisation wishes to make any nominations, please ensure that your forms are completed and signed, that you have informed your nominee(s) and they also complete, sign and return their candidate information and acceptance forms by the deadline. It is vital that your nominees fully understand the roles and responsibilities of being a DW Board member including the time commitment required.

The final changes agreed by the membership at the May 2003 EGM came into force following the 2007 AGM. Please note that any nominees must represent an organisation that is at least 51% run and controlled by disabled people.
