Visit Wales and the Welsh Assembly have asked access groups to help audit 300 venues in Wales to find out more about their accessibility. The WAG Accessible Venues project has provided funding to help groups undertake this work. Disability Wales will be managing the project.

The information collected by the groups will be used to update a web-based venues database and conference planner held by Visit Wales, and will encourage venue providers to focus on access issues and make improvements where necessary.
The project should be completed by the end of July.
