Disabled Flintshire man claims £5,000 compensation from pub

Arthur Jones, 55, from Gamfa Gerrig, in Brynford, Holywell, lodged a bid for compensation against the landlords of the Cross Foxes pub near Holywell, David and Susan Williams, in a civil case at Caernarfon crown court yesterday. Mr Jones, a qualified engineer who has from multiple sclerosis, has taken the pub, which is part of the Punch Taverns group, to court because of its failure to provide building and toilet access, from July 2006 to March 2008.
