The Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) will shortly be putting out a call for projects to provide and improve opportunities to enjoy nature. To help them devise project criteria it would be very helpful if members of the Countryside For All Forum could send examples of projects that have put in place facilities that broaden opportunities to include people with disabilities. The CCW want to know of the breadth of what is possible beyond the more obvious path surface improvements e.g. mobility vehicle hire/loan etc. They will have £2 million in the pot, so there is a great opportunity here to get some serious work done in this area.
